Thanks for your Support!

SRDC would like to send out an extra-special thank you to everyone who gave their time and money to support Schuylkill Banks so far this year. Since January, you have contributed 1,860 hours of your time cleaning and greening the trail and greenway. You have contributed 190 hours of your time helping make movie nights, kayak tours, and riverboat more enjoyable for all participants. And, you have given over $46,000 for trail maintenance and seasonal programming activities.  Schuylkill Banks is a great place to walk, run, bike, fish, play, and relax because of you. Thank you for your generosity.   

We still have more work to complete this year to keep Schuylkill Banks clean and green for the thousands of people who rely on it every week, including our urban wildlife. Trail maintenance activities actually ramp up during the fall season with tree pruning and leaf removal on top of regular maintenance activities. We also have plans to continue to remove invasive plants from the greenway - specifically the Tree of Heaven, which helps sustain the devastating spotted lantern fly. If you are one of the thousands of people who depend on the trail and greenway, please consider joining those who have already contributed to making Schuylkill Banks a great place to be this year.
