Schuylkill River Sojourn

The Schuylkill River Sojourn is often described as summer camp since the outdoor expedition combines kayaking, camping, education, and games into one exciting adventure! The Sojourn is an annual 112-mile guided canoe/kayak trip on the Schuylkill River that begins in rural Schuylkill Haven and ends seven days later at Philadelphia’s Boathouse Row. Participants paddle 14-18 miles per day. Register for one day, any amount of individual days, or the entire week-long journey. Learn more and register here.

Friday, June 14th Pre-Sojourn check-in, kickoff, and camping (optional start for anyone beginning their sojourn on Saturday) - Schuylkill Haven Island Park
Day 1: Saturday, June 15th - 15.5 Miles: Schuylkill Haven to Port Clinton
Day 2: Sunday, June 16th - 18.5 miles: Port Clinton to Jim Dietrich Park, Muhlenberg Twp
Day 3: Monday, June 17th - 16.3 miles: Jim Dietrich Park to Gibraltar
Day 4: Tuesday, June 18th - 13.7 miles Gibraltar to Pottstown
Day 5: Wednesday, June 19th - 17.8 miles Pottstown to Mont Clare Lock 60
Day 6: Thursday, June 20th - 14 miles Mont Clare to West Conshohocken
Day 7: Friday June 21st- 16 miles West Conshohocken to Philadelphia
