Volunteers of the Month: Schuylkill Shindig Volunteers

This year’s Schuylkill Shindig was a big success, thanks in large part to a group of wonderful volunteers. Big thanks go out to Noelle Beaumont, Barbara Beck, Jeff Burger, Drew McNamara, David Putro, Emily Scrimger, Rich Siller, Karen Smith and Jocelyn Wilson!

These dedicated volunteers worked to string lights, hang decorations and set up tables and chairs. They checked people in during the event and kept the event running smoothly. They stayed until 11pm to clean up and break everything down. The Shindig would not have been possible without their efforts!

Beyond the Shindig, many of these volunteers have dedicated their time during other Schuylkill Banks events, including riverboat and kayak tours, movie nights and cleanups. We are so grateful for their on-going support of SRDC’s mission, which enables us to deliver quality programming and maintain the trail and greenway year-round.
