Volunteers Beautify the Banks at the Philly Spring Cleanup

On Opening Day for Trails, April 7, more than 40 volunteers gathered on the Banks for our annual Philly Spring Cleanup event. In just three hours, volunteers collected more than 100 bags of leaves and mulched all of the planting beds south of Walnut Street. SRDC was so impressed by everyone’s hard work, dedication and positive attitude. We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who came out to volunteer as part of the Philly Spring Cleanup, and to Pennoni for supporting this event. There’s always a lot of maintenance work to do as we head into spring, and your efforts make a lasting difference!
