Volunteer of the Month: Madhur Parihar

We first met Madhur during a Volunteer Open House on the trail in May. He happened to be walking along the trail, and stopped by the Schuylkill Banks Center to say hello and express his interest in helping out. An international student at Drexel University, Madhur wanted to learn more about Philly and the Schuylkill River, while having fun and helping others to do the same.

On June 7, Madhur dove right in to help us with our big annual fundraising event, the Schuylkill Shindig. He showed up at 1pm to help with set-up and decorating, and stayed to help clean up late into the night. Madhur’s hard work and upbeat attitude helped lighten SRDC’s load and contributed greatly to the Shindig’s success!
