Thanks for a great 2018 programming season!
Another successful programming season is coming to a close (only two more weekends of riverboat tours!).
Thank you to everyone who supported SRDC’s mission by coming out for events on Schuylkill Banks! This year, we were thrilled to host 2,360 movie-lovers at our free outdoor movie nights, over 1,100 attendees of all ages on our fun- and fact-filled riverboat tours, and 245 urban adventurers on our kayak tours (despite many rained-out tours). And, we had a blast at Astronomy Night, Parks on Tap, Art in the Open, and Philly Fun Fishing Fest!
Our events would not be possible without the help of our wonderful volunteers. A solid team of both new and returning volunteers allowed us to offer quality programming and keep the Banks clean and beautiful all season.
Even though our programming season is almost over, there is still plenty to do on Schuylkill Banks. We look forward to seeing you out walking, running and biking on the trail and relaxing along the greenway this fall and winter!
