Temporary Fencing at Chestnut Street

You may have noticed some new temporary fencing on the trail near Chestnut Street. This is a precautionary measure to prevent large vehicles from driving there as we have discovered some "iffy" substructure conditions. This fencing will remain in place until the conditions are further evaluated and decisions made about possible repair needs. We know this is inconvenient but safety must always come first.
