A Strong Start to the Volunteer Season

We had a record number of volunteer groups in April and May, with more than 362 volunteers total! These hardworking volunteers helped with every aspect of trail maintenance including trash pickup, weeding, pruning trees, spreading mulch, and painting. High school students, college alumni groups, corporate groups and individuals all pitched in to keep Schuylkill Banks clean and green this season. There’s always a lot of work to be done in the spring; volunteers significantly expand our organizational capacity and ability to complete major projects along the trail.

Many thanks to the following groups for their help these past two months!
