SRT Town Watch

Councilman Kenyatta Johnson held a community meeting on February 11 to discuss creating a Town Watch for the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia. His office is working with Town Watch Integrated Services and Run 215 to oversee the creation of this program.

Town Watch Integrated Services will train and schedule volunteer town watch participants. We and the rest of the Schuylkill River Trail Safety Committee are optimistic that this group will help to deter crime and harassment and that it will make it easier for the police to quickly and effectively respond to issues on the trail.
