Schuylkill Banks CLOSED 5/1 due to flooding

As many of you have seen firsthand, Schuylkill Banks is severely flooded due to last night's heavy rains. The trail is unsafe for use and is currently CLOSED.

Once the water recedes we'll have a better idea of damage and debris and may schedule a volunteer clean-up on Saturday or Sunday. We need the site to dry out a bit, so we won't be making this decision until tomorrow. UPDATE: The trail is now OPEN for use as of 5/2. Please use caution, as some areas of the trail are still muddy and may be slippery. SRDC will be organizing a volunteer flood clean-up on the Center City trail this weekend. Details to come.
