Race Street At-Grade Crossing Closed Due to Flood Damage

The City has determined that the technology for the pedestrian gates at Race Street was water damaged due to the recent flood. The City has directed that the mechanism be powered down; the gates will remain locked until the problem is resolved. During this time, you can access the Banks via the Schuylkill River Parks Connector Bridge, Walnut Street, Chestnut Street, Market Street and JFK Bridges, or via the Locust Street at-grade crossing and MLK Jr. Drive.
