FOSB kicks off summer with the Schuylkill Shindig

Thanks to everyone who joined us on June 7 for Friends of Schuylkill Banks’ Schuylkill Shindig! We had a ton of fun partying under the Walnut Street Bridge with DJ Eddie Tully, munching on Pitruco, Farm Truck, Pure Sweets macaroons and Shake Shack custard, sipping on ShackMeister Ale from Brooklyn Brewery, and getting silly with Poseybooth. Thanks to our talented artists, Monica O and Jason Andrew Turner, who auctioned off stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces to a few lucky party-goers.

FOSB raised a whopping $10,212 in support of maintenance and operational work on Schuylkill Banks, making the Shindig our biggest fundraiser to date! With this event, FOSB has officially raised over $40,000 in support of the Banks over the last 4 years! A huge thanks goes out to Platinum Level Sponsor Brandywine Realty Trust, Gold Level Sponsors Urban Engineers and Pennoni Associates, Silver Level Sponsors Ammann & Whitney and Pure Sweets, and Bronze Level Sponsors Shake Shack, Pitruco, Farm Truck, My Fabulous Mama, James Price, Eddie Tully and Patriot Harbor Lines.
