Bike Repair & Air Station
WHAT: Ribbon cutting for the first of seven bicycle fix-it stations being installed along the Schuylkill River Trail. These bike repair stations are funded by the Schuylkill River Greenways Association, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), and REI Co-op. Virtual Farm Creative produced the graphic design for each station.
“Schuylkill River Greenways is thrilled to partner with REI and DCNR in providing these fabulous bike support stations in seven different locations along the Schuylkill River Trail. Cyclists using the trail will now have access to these repair stations. We believe the fix-it stations will help trail users have a positive experience and help connect more people to this incredible regional resource,” said Elaine Paul Schafer, Schuylkill River Greenways Executive Director.
